While I was watching the start of Big Brother last evening I made ready this fluffy pink shawl. Knitted in Kitten Mohair :D

Have'nt been a big fan of BB but thought that it would be nice to have something to watch every evening while I knit, so maybe this could be a great habbit ;)

I have also got so fed up at all the halfdone projects that I have decided to rip up some..and here is a few. A yellow babydress that was planed for a 1 or 2 yearold but the dress looks way too big so far so not my project anymore :P
Then some crochetting I made on the cartrip...might start them over or then continue..not yet sure what to do.

But now off to watch BB....what shall I knit??

Yesterday I spent my day in front of the tv watching the dvd Jewels by Danielle Steel. It's about 4 hour film so I got much knitting done ;) The film was so romantic and lovely..just what I need when I feel lousy and cold. Today I'm even worse

But I got the old ufo babyblanet ready and I'm so glad about it. It's been on the needles for over a year....uuupps !!

Knitted with the yarn Maja.. Think I used about 5 or 6 balls of it. Needles 3 and 3½. What a pain..regret I did'nt use 4 or even bigger.

But the blanket turned out neat and that's great. It's about 85 x 60 cm.

This is how far our garageproject is this morning. Hubby and dad have been busy workmen.

Our yard looks quite messy but who cares, after a few months it's all under snow and noone can see it..lol...:D

My Godchild turned one this weekend and we went on her little party. She's so, so sweet and I love her so much! Can't wait til I see her again. Feels like she was born only a while ago...time goes so fast.

Photos of things I have got ready. ( not much I have made lately I know :P ) Two pearl bracelets and a dish cloth. It was fun to try this new crochetting. Started it a while ago and did sew the loose ends yesterday.

I have had time to do some knittings today coz' I did stay home from nightshift at work. I feel lousy :( Sore throat, ear and headache :( Feels like my body aches all over..

Going to spend rest of the evening knitting or then go to bed and read..nighty!!

I did'nt have to buy Jenny Dahlbergs book coz' I found it at the library and have been reading in it when I have had time before I go to bed.. I like her book much and hope it would be a start for me to continue with my weightloss and reach my goal. Not looking too good at the moment :( But I'll keep on going :D

At last...a few days off work. Have been working like mad these last two weeks..or so it feels. A bit over 87 hours ! Have'nt had almost any time for crafting. Made two bracelets..that's all.
But last weekend I had so fun. Was at my cousins and the next night with her on a party.

So today when I went into our little town I thought I deserve to treat myself with some new yarn and got some on sale. Novita Bambu and Cocos. Then some yarn from Lidl. Maybe I'll get my knitbug back now too..but first I need some time. Feels like I have'nt done much else than the houseworks or sleeping here at home now :(

In the evening we are invited to my cousin to spend the evening with her family. I hope for a nice evening and fun time :D

Going to give here a flower and this little present made of candles and stones. I bet she's going to like it ;) She has these colours in her home..white, black, brown.. ..

I just have to show you my 'flower for a day'. You have to be quick to notice when the flowers are in bloom coz' they only last one day. Today there where two. They are beautiful!

Got this little cloth ready yesterday. My mum is crochetting a bigger, but I did just try the pattern and did'nt have patience to crochet more :) Found a place for it on my table beside the computer.

And the way it is today :D I have been dreaming of a white old table for a while. Then remembered that hubby once got a table that we put on dads loft, coz' we did'nt need it then. So had a look there, and it's perfect!!!!! Just like the one I was dreaming of..sometimes I can have luck too..woohooo..

I'm so happy with how my new computercorner turned out ;)

We have things in black iron...did use to buy it when we collected black things a few years ago. But now when I like white I decided to paint these shelf holders white. After three times of painting they turned out great and now look like this...

Maybe I can paint some other things too..lol :D

So then my 4 weeks off from work is over... or..I would have 3 days off til my next shift but have taken 3 extra workshifts at the other place..ha-ha :) Hope all is going fine coz' I'll have about 55 hour of work next week. Do you think it's going to be any time for crafting!? Not sure..

At some time in my life I did read much, but the last few years I have'nt had inspiration for reading books, only magazines. These two books I have had on my badsidetable for ages. Last night I went to bed earlier than usual and did read that was left in them. Great!!
They are both good.. Sopivasti Lihava by Jenny Dahlberg ( site in Swedish) and Martina-Koden by Martina Haag.
Maybe this got me motivated for reading more. Would like to order some new books now :D

MMmmmmm..thought I better start living a bit healthier so made a delichious carrot soup last evening. I have put on more weight (again) and feel really bad about it. I better start doing something so it does'nt get worse :(

Colour for today is......p.i.n.k !! Like always ..lol. :D Been knitting on a new and an old project.

Then I have been working at the kindergarten..on my holiday...yes..you did read right. I take extra work on my time off from the other work. I also know I'm a bit wierd..ha-ha ! Had a good day!!

Last week I got a joboffer that's been mixede up my mind quite a bit...

Hi again.. so why have'nt I been blogging?! We suddenly decided to go on a few days cartrip around here in Finland. We had a great time. Of course I had to take something with me to keep my hands busy while we sat in the car. So collected some old yarns and leftovers and the hook with me. Not again sure what it's going to be, will see :D

On the way we went to a lovely park with animals. Pikku Kili.

We had so good time walking around there. Little E liked it so much and he was happy to feed the animals with grass :)

Then we also visited the two monasterys in Finland. Lintula where lives nun's and Valamo for the monk's. It was so interested to have a look in their church and other places.

So after spending most of my break from work here at home it was nice to come out and see something else too.

In the morning I made a pair of earrings and a bracelet for my mum. Going to be for her birthday :) Hope she likes them.

Ufo august starts today. Going to try to get ready some of my old things. Here's a few of them..
