Went to the yarnshop today. Had no knitting or yarns in mind so did take a look there and had a chat with the owner. Was fun. Decided to buy some yarns for projects for me and ended up with some Vivaldi and Eskimo.
And here you can see what I would like to knit :D

Yeiiiii..the mittens for the mitten along are ready!!!!!:) Woohooo :D Turned out nice. And no, they are'nt to the same hand, it's just to show how both sides looks like..ha-ha :P :) Used Janne and Smart yarn. They are so soft and warm. Think they are going to be mine ;)

A few days ago when we had some lovely sunshine I saw the rainbow too. Can't remember that I have been seeing it on the winter before. On the picture it looks a bit dark, but it was so light and lovely outside, and the colours on the rainbow was so bright.
The weather has been cold but sunny today too.

Doesn't little E's cardigan look cute :)

And it's been sawed for all the years in so good condition. It was mine when I was little :) My grandma knitted it for me.

Feels so nice that we still have something left since I was a child and now can use it for little E.

Have had a bit boring day and been feeling a bit tired and low so the coffee tasted just perfect and delicious with mud cake and whipped cream..mmmm... Something good do make you feel a bit better anyway ;) Thought I can start the diet tomorrow..lol :P

And here's a picture of the Fifi shawl I got ready. Has been on the needles for a long time.

On my two nightshifts at work I had my knitting with me. Started the mittens over again and have got quite a bit done now :) Going to do some small changes on the pattern, like the thumb's going to be dark on these. Would be nice to get ready soon ;)

And my Kool Aid came in the postie yesterday..What a great and fast service form KoolaidUK. Bought some white yarn today and want to dye more soon again, maybe tomorrow ;)

Got these two cute cross stitch kits today. Did buy them from a 'forum friend'. Now I just have to get the stitchbug :D

We also got more snow. It has been snowing last night and on the morning. So we have quite much snow. Feels like real winter now :)

Done some more knitting on the shawl. Do knit on it every now and then but seems like I never get it ready :P

In the morning we had about -18 degrees. Lovely sunny winterday. Then it turned to foggy and after a while we got snow. So a weather mix up :D

Have had a day off and it's been just what I needed after all working :) Feels like I have'nt done much...Had some relaxing time. Did write three letters, did knit a bit and then dyed some yarn. Been playing and watching Pingu with little E.

The yarn is Novita Nalle.

Don't quite like the darker colour. Looks more like grey. Thought it would have been purple or lilac. (on the photo they look even darker than they are )

But hope it turns out nice when I knit with it...when I come up with what to knit :P
Did order some more kool aid so I soon can make some more dyings :D

So..not much craftings going on here, no. Been working the last 8 days and about 60 hours so have'nt had much time to knit. Feels like I have been working and sleeping.. And when I have had a little time I have'nt been in the mood for anything. But now I think it's time to start the mittens again..lol :D

Mittens.. or it was suppose to be mittens. But from the beginning it was'nt going good. So did rip it all up and going to start all over...again!

Sometime knitting can be so stressful..lol ;)

Have been knitting a little on the ufo-scarf every day and also on the socks...now I'm bored at them so started on the mittens for the along. Have already had problems with them too..the thumb. But think it's going ok now.

Last evening went while I was sitting on the floor playing with Little E who's sick with fever a.g.a.i.n :( I did sit and knit but as long as I sit on the floor and play every now and then it's ok :)

Sock..socks..socks..Think I'll soon give up knitting them :( Here you can see why! The stripes on the other one is not going so good :( And I have now lost the inspiration on knitting them ready..pheewwww...don't know what to do now. So think it means ripping up a bit again..

Went to the movies with hubby last evening. Had planed to see James Bond but we could not get any tickets so we saw V2-jäätynyt enkeli. A Finnish movie. I like the actors in it and this one was so great!!

Today it's been snowing all morning. I feel a bit lazy and have'nt made any plans what to start doing. Been chatting on the net :D

Went to the yarnshop yesterday. Needed some yarn for the mittens I'm going to start knitting. But also found some sockyarn I like. Bought my friend some too..

We had a crafty evening yesterday :D She was stitching and I continued on my socks..they are'nt ready yet..grrr...I have huge problems with the ending and want it to look neat..SO I started on the other sock.

Was nice to have some coffee, chat and knitting. Hope we have some time to meet soon again ;)

It's nice and brighter outside now when we have got a little snow. Not much but you can call it snow..lol :)

Hope we get more soon!

A day off today and home alone..Means I did sleep long, have'nt been doing much and just taking it easy.. But the houseworks are waiting :P So better get something done or then just sit down and knit :D

Today I got Novita and last week Suuri Käsityölehti and Moda. All crafty and knitty magazines.
In Suuri Käsityölehti I didn't find anything I like. It's more for peoples who likes to sew and it's not for me at the moment.. Think I have to sort out some of the old mags to put for sale or something ;)
In Moda and Novita it's lots of nice things...here's pics of some I like :D

Some knittings been done on the socks..but having problems with the toe and ending...grrr..have been ripping it up for a few times now.
Tomorrow's a long day at work. From morning to evening so think that means no knitting at all :(

Last night at my workshift I did knit for about 4 hours :D And here is a pic of the shawl and socks so far..Going to continue on them tonight.

Weekendknittings are going to be one of the ufo shawls and the socks I started. I have this lovely online supersocke yarn and thought it would be nice as jaywalkers, so let's see how it goes ;)

Have been stitching on this round robin for so long..and now it's ready. So an ufo done :D It was so difficult to stitch coz' of the tiny squares and that's why I lost my stitchbug so many times and it took me ages to get ready..Now I just want to get rid of it and send it away...lol ;)

Got my Black Sea hat ready. Knitted it in the bigger size so it covers the ears, coz' I don't like icecold ears..ha..ha.. Knitted with Novita Nalle yarn, and without the pearls.

Today I have done some knitting on the cap. In the car on our way to the cottage i did knit too :) and for the first time the way there did'nt feel so long..hih ;) I hope that I tomorrow get it ready so I can continue or start some new projects..lol :D

And here is this years first knitting..or I just had to finish the loose ends and put together. Small kids slippers.
Did crochet the seams together and it turned out neat :D

Second project is a baby cap. Knitted it for quite a while ago. Just had to finish it too..did crochet here again. And on the front i added a cute little crochetted flower with a bead.



Can count both projects to and also But I have no ideas about who could have them ;)

OOooohh totally forgot to show you..I got my first bamboo needles..woohoo..Nr 5 and 6.5. It was my christmas pressie from hubby :D And he also gave me a gift token to Menita yarn shop. So kind of him. Husbands..thay can if they wan't to..lol :D :D

So it's a new year and I thought I would join some fun stuffs :D
A few knitalongs I like to take part in A cap along and a Christmaspresent along And a mitten along :) It's going to be much fun. And most I hope to get something done too ;)
I'm also taking part in the January UFO along..coz´I do have some ( ok..lots ) of halfdone projects that I really would like to get ready.

For this year I also hope ...
* that we get upstairs ready and I get my own crafty room.
* that little E is'nt so much sick than the last few months
* that it's going to go fine on work
* that it's gonna be a crafty year :D
+ lots of other things...

Tomorrow I go back to 'my old' work and we do hope it's going to go fine with a small kid and that both hubby and I have works with 3 shifts ;) This 5 days / week job at the kindergarten was'nt quite my thing, so was my last day there last week.
Feeling a bit mixed up and not sure how the future looks like for us... let's see..
