We had a lovely Christmastime. With good food, family, friends, Santa etc..

It's been raining and storming outside. Grey and no snow.

I have been in a knitty mood and got ready a few things. Also started a few new projects.

This poncho is knitted in Novita Teddy. It was a fast project. Kids size.

These slippers I also made. Nice pastel colours in blue, pink and green. Naturgarn no1.

The two kids sized pairs I got ready before christmas. So far I have made 8 pairs of slippers. My own pair is ready but decorating is halfdone :P On these five pairs I have'nt yet made any decorations.

And while watching a dvd I had to knit something simple, so made a scarf in Kitten Mohair, with big needels.

Would like to knit a blanket for myself so bought the white Marks & Kattens Teddy yarn for it. Hmm..did take all white they had in the shop..lol :D

The dark grey are for some more slippers ;)

And my friend and I went to Novita's shop to get some more yarn. I found some Laura yarn I started to knit with rightaway. Then some Aino and 7 veljestä.

Have got plans for them all. The striped colourful yarn is going to be for mum coz' she's working on a blanket with that yarn.

Last evening hubby and I went to the cinema. Was nice to come out and do something fun. The movie " The Golden Compass" was ok. I bet it continues with more movies..coz' it ended that way.

For today it's cleaning and houseworks to be doing. Have got almost all done...but now I need a coffeebreak. Have you got all ready?

Feeling tired but wanted to get out of the house. So where could I go..hmmmm..yes, to the yarnshop :D

Spending some time there made me feel better rightaway. And I had some Alfa Glitter, Naturgarn nr1 and Kitten Mohair with me home. ( the kitten yarn is already in use on a project where I did run out of yarn a while ago ;) )

And now late in the evening I did some gingerbreads and decorated them. And of course I use my favourite colour even on them :P

Notice the special one ;) It's going to be for hubby, to have with his coffee, when he comes home from work tomorrow morning :D

So that I and maybe also you get into the Christmas mood I have added some Christmas songs into the blog. Can listen to them over and over again :)

In the morning I did visit the doctor and I have infection in the sinus, so that's why I'm not getting any better. Hope the medicines helps now.

Christmastree is up and decorated. Was thinking why not take it in now so we can enjoy it a bit longer :)

I'm not any better..this cold is just getting worse. Had a long day at work, or so it feels with headache and nose is rinning :(
Came home, went to bed. Had a 3 hour sleep. Now I have been up a while. Did write a letter, coloured a picture and now off to bed again.
Hope you all are fine! I start to feel quite low now. Just want this cold to be over. I wish for snow and a nice Christmastime.

Have stayd home from work for a few days. I have the cold and I don't feel so well. If I remember right it's soon 4 weeks with this cold ..pheewww.. :(

Last night I tried to colour them a bit and it was fun :)

So today I went to buy some craftstuffs :) Papers, cards etc. ( yes..I do have some stuffs from before too :D , but not like these..lol.. ) Now I just need to get started ;)

Have knitted 5 pairs of slippers and two of them are ready decorated at the moment.

The green ones are going to be mums x-mas present. She did try them on when she was here and sayd they where nice :) So I thought she can have them. She don't know they are for her ;)
The white ones are a bit smaller. Suits a childs foot I think. I'm not so happy with them, and don't know what to do with them.

Both the green and white where the same size before felting but turned out different coz' I used Novita yarn on the white and Naturgarn no1 on the greens.

Just got the cute apple buttons fasten and now the baby cardigan is ready :D
The yarn is nice and soft, Sirdar Snuggly.
This cardigan is going to be for my hubbys friend at his work. She got a baby about a month ago, just hope I get to see him some day ;)



And now back to my cd and knitting :)

Second Advent.
Today I have put up some Christmas decorations (can post pics later) and been sewing the baby cardigan. Now I only have the buttons left...yippeaieee :)

It's fun playing with sites on the internet. But I think it must be something wrong with this one...says I'm 68% like Nicole..lol :D

Last evening I did some stitching. Yes :) have started to sew a little, but yet I'm not back to cross stitching designs from pictures ;) Trying out my own things at the moment.

Then I started to listen to a new book cd. Herrgården by Anna-Karin Palm. Time went by so fast and suddenly three hours had gone and it was time to go to bed. It was so relaxing and nice to sit and knit and listen to the book. Hope to get the baby cardigan ready that I have on the needles. Maybe this weekend.

For many days now it's been storming and raining. The days are so dark and grey. Must have the lights on. Here you can see how it looks like on our yard. Lots of water.

Ps.. got ispired by stitchery and stamping..and Tilda, so I think that may mean more hobbies..lol :D

Knitty Winter 2007 is out and there are some nice patterns. Here are a few of my favourites. ( pictures from knitty ) May knit some but I'm not sure. Have too much other projects on the go at the moment.
