I'm joining

Sukkasato 2012 this year again.
We are going to knit socks September and October. That sound's great coz' I'm already in the sock mood ;)

At the moment I have summerbreak so are enjoying my time off work. That means more time for crafting ;)

Flags

These flags was ment to be a decoration in my sons little 'tree house'. But at the moment it's decorating our livingroom :)
I love this bright colour.
He might get this later ;) so I better make some new ones for me..lol ;)

Decorations

Almost every day I do crafts.. just have lost the interest for blogging about what I do.
But let's try and see how it goes ;)

I still do crafts almost every day. At the moment knitting, crochet and making earrings.

These I got ready a few weeks ago. 3 new tablecloths..all in yellow for Eastertime.
It's not always easy to take pictures when a little one want's to have a look at the things mum makes..

Bookmark

At the moment I like to crochet.
Have made a bookmark with a ribbon.

For easter..

Once again I did crochet two tablecloths with my favourite pattern.
In bright yellow for Easter.

And another one with a new design. Don't quite like it , coz' I think there is too much lace on the edges.

Mittens

 A pair of lovely mittens are ready. I think this is a nice old rose colour.
Did add a cute bow to them.

Scarf

Soft and fluffy. A scarf in blue.

Colours

Had one ball of Järbo Fantasi yarn and did knit a simple small shawl/scarf of it. Nice colours.

I fell in love with this yarn, Novita Kide, and decided I want to make something for myself.
Did knit a scarf!
This sparkling yarn with crystals reminds me of ice and frosty wintertime.

The last days we have got so much snow. Have had lot's of work to shovel, and now they say it's going to snow soon again.
Yes I like snow..but this winter I have'nt been in the snowmood at all...

I wait for Spring!!!

Help with ribbons!!

 I have some problems with my ribbons!
At the moment I keep them in a jar of glass. They do look nice in it, but when I want a ribbon it turns into a mess and I get complications trying to sort them out..
Help..any ideas how to store ribbons better?

Candy

 Got myself some candy today....ahh so lovely pink and striped (pink, beige, brown) yarn. Going to be a few pairs of socks I guess ;)

Sweater update 2

Coz' I have been knitting on wrist warmers, mitten and socks I have'nt got so much done on son's sweater. Just got to the place where I thought I must cast off for the sleeves. Started to read the pattern and what do I notice??! That there is'nt going to be any holes for the sleeves yet!! I must cut up the plase for them later. OMG!!! I have never cut in something I have knit!
But decided I'm going to try it..so I'll continue knitting.. 
And next time I must read all pattern careful before starting...uupsss :o)

We have got so much snow the last few days. And I'm so waiting til spring. Now we have lot's of work outside to shovel the snow..grrrr!
But the kids are happy to play in the snow....so maybe it can stay for a while then ;)

Warm and soft wrist warmer's for myself.
Knitted with Kitten Mohair. I'm sure that I will knit more of them with another lace pattern. Or maybe mittens.

Soo many ideas...so little time :o)

Sweater update

Not much done yet but have started knitting on sons sweater.
So far I like the yarn and the way it looks..but I think it might get a bit big, not sure. Must see while I knit more.
Son was surprised when I told him I'm now going to knit for him :)

Shopping

Today I have been shopping some yarn. Was suppose to buy only a few yarnballs, but came home with much more.
All so lovely yarns.
Drops Karisma (16 ball's) Have plans to knit a sweater for my son.
Järbo Garn Raggi (1 ball) Socks
Regia (2 ball's) Socks or cap
Drops Eskimo (3 ball's) Slippers
Novita Kide (3 ball's) Scarf
Now let's see how many of these projects will be ready some day. Coz' I'm so good at planing things but then start something new, I have lot's of halfdone projects..
Let's hope for the best with these ;)

First this year

 First of this year is a pair of socks knitted in Novita 7 veljestä.

 And a loose cap knitted in Reggia.
Both simple projects that I knit while listening to audiobooks. So nice hobby..this way I get done two things at the same..lol :o)
