Fick syn på vårens första tussilago idag. Nu behövs bara mer sol och värme så slår den ut :)

Saw this springs first coltsfoot. Now needs only more sun and warm weather so they open up :)

Hurraaa..min beställning från Novita kom. Mina garn. Den vita är till väskan, och av Tango garnet är jag inte helt säker på vad jag ska laga av den. Eller..jag har en plan..behöver något till morsdagen till mamma, så vi får se ;) Och så håller jag på att sticka en scarf igen, nu en i pink :)

Woohoo..my order from Novita came. My yarns. The white for my bag, and the Tango yarn I'm not yet sure what to do with. Or..I do have a plan..need to make something for mothersday for mum so let's see ;) And then I'm knitting a scarf again, now a pink one :)

Har varit och hjälpt att måla idag. Bräder, lister och huvan ovanom fläkten.

Have been helping with th painting today. Boards, lists and the bulb over the kitchenventilator.

( Coz' I'm not always sure with the right english words I maybe write wrong..but hope you understand ;) )

Quick sewing today. A holder for the toiletpaper. Going to be put in the outdoor toilet. Want to sew some other things to put there too but have'nt come up with any new ideas yet..

I just have to show you this beautiful wall clock we got today. It was left on our stairs, so it was a lovely surprise when we came home. Our neighbours, an old couple, are moving and they knew we like old things so they brought this to us. I fell in love with it right away!! Going to treasure it forever ;)


AND..here is a few of my spring/summer projects. The outdoor toilet I need to make look a bit nicer and at the stones I ment to plant flowers. Have to see what I come up with.
So lovely sunny and warm springdays keeps me outside, so not much craftings done. But the Sophiebag is soon ready to be felted ;)

The Muppet Personality Test

Remember the little blue bag I knitted. Did felt it today and when it got out from the washingmachine it was a mess :( Both sides had felt together. Thought now I have to knit a new one, but then tryed to get it open and got it..yeiiii..the bag is now drying. Thought I'll add something on it but don't know what yet.

And another mess..my 'stitchbox'. Need to sort it. But it looks the same after a while again. ;) Started to stitch a small picture coz' I need to make a few cards. I like small pics coz' I get them ready fast..lol :)

Just a quick post before I go to bed.

Was looking for the white yarn ( Novita Huopanen ) in three stores today, but NOOOO!!! They don't have it. Think I have to order it from Novita or I'll never get it. Just when I was in the mood for knitting the white bag, typical.

Got some yarns for a project I have in mind, but not going to start it til I get some of the old ones ready. The green colour is quite nice ;)

Then there on my bedside table is my purple knitting. Going to be a Sophie bag. But I'm not sure about it, think I have the wrong size needles for the yarn. But I'll keep on knitting and see what it will look like when it's ready. Let's hope for the best!! ;) So nighty..I'm tired. A few rows knitting then some sleep.

Today I have been painting again. This time the wainscot on the wall. White. Got all dizzy in my head coz' of the smell. Still lots to do but every day we get some things done ;) And boy am I angry..was looking for yarn so I can knit the white bag ready..BUT they did'nt have it!!! Was in two shops, but NO!! Need to search for it tomorrow again!

Got the 'bagbug'

The sewing is'nt going good so started knitting again. Got the 'bagbug' and here is what I have been doing the last few days. The blue small bag is going to be for my phone. Just need to be felted in the washingmashine. Not sure what size it will be after that, but hope it'll be ok for the phone..( keep thumbs up ;) ) For the white one I need more yarn. On the purple one I just need to keep on knitting, so going to knit a while before I go to bed,, nighty !!!!

So..the fabric I did dye. Here is a picture of them. On the left is how the fabric looks like 'before' and the right 'after' . Maybe someone think they look a bit dirty, but I was after this used, old look and I think it's quite ok!
Used tea for it ;)
Going to try another time again, but first I have to sew something with these fabrics!
Always fun to try out new things ;)
