A friend at work asked me if I can make her two ponchos. Sure I can.
And here is a picture of one of them. Made it ready a while ago. She has'nt seen it yet, so I hope she will like it.
It's crochet in Novita Bambu. And pattern from Novita magazine summer 2009. I made some changes to the pattern.
Only problem is that this yarn will fray easily so I had to tie a knot on every fringe. It did take me ages to tie the knots, but I'm glad I did it coz' it wouldn't look nice if it starts to fray I'm sure..
This was an easy project.
Have some new things to show you soon, only a few loose ends to fasten first.

A bit wintry and cold today, but I have the feeling of spring and easter.
Need to start doing some easter cards too. And sew some decorations. Have got a halfmade bunny that's waiting to be ready.
Then I would like to crochet something too.
Plans..plans..

I love yarn

It's been a lovely sunny day..and I have been shopping some more yarn. You already know that I love yarn :)
More projects in mind you see ;)
Some new yarn's I never had before like Viking Fröja, Marks&Kattens Bianca and Grandi, Järbo Garn. Then also some Maija and Naturgarn.
On the photo you can see a bit of the shawl I'm knitting on at the moment. It's easy and fun. Hope to get it ready fast!

More mittens

again :D 3 pairs.

I like to knit them, but when it comes to the thumbs and to fasten the loose ends I'll leave them for later..haha..

So these have been knitted for a long time ago, but decided that I must get the halfdone made ready so I can start even more new projects ;)

I do have about 5 knittings on the go at the moment..gooosh...lol :D

Scarf and more yarn..

Here is pictures of the scarf I made a while ago.

Found a crochet design I like and started to crochet. Then I came up with the idea to make it into a scarf. Then added the edges on it.

It's about 10x162 cm. Used Alpaca yarn. So lovely and soft.

I like this green colour much. But I think this scarf is'nt my style..lol :D

And some weeks ago mum and I had a wisit to the yarnstore. Bought some for new projects and some for old ones that's are on the needels.

Have'nt forgot about crafting, no.. just have'nt made anything ready yet ;)

Got ready the mittens a while ago but have forgot to take a pic of them. Knitted in Novita Mambo.
And the shawl I also got ready a while ago, but had to fasten the ends, so made it last evening. Knitted in Kitten Mohair. Edges are crochet.


Found these too..just the ends to fasten and to press, now they are ready :)
Maybe you notice they are the two of my favourite patterns there again ;)

Last evening I started a new knitting. Hope this one turns out better than the last two.
I can't wait to continue knitting again :) But now I'm going to sort out my craftroom..still have some things to get ready there.

I'm so disappointed in the Arabella yarn I bought. It looks nice with different threads. But they are only tied together with knots and it looks awful when I knit it..grrrrrr.... Nothing I like :(

And here are the caps..what shall I knit with the yarn..any ideas?!

Seems like I'm having bad luck with the knittings at the moment.

So started sewing last evening :) And while I was sewing 'little E' was cutting and crafting too. He did two pictures for grandma and grandpa. I think they look so cute!! The pink is grandma and green grandpa.

E was so proud of his pic's. He loves to cut and glue.
