Sweater update 2

Coz' I have been knitting on wrist warmers, mitten and socks I have'nt got so much done on son's sweater. Just got to the place where I thought I must cast off for the sleeves. Started to read the pattern and what do I notice??! That there is'nt going to be any holes for the sleeves yet!! I must cut up the plase for them later. OMG!!! I have never cut in something I have knit!
But decided I'm going to try it..so I'll continue knitting..
And next time I must read all pattern careful before starting...uupsss :o)

We have got so much snow the last few days. And I'm so waiting til spring. Now we have lot's of work outside to shovel the snow..grrrr!
But the kids are happy to play in the snow....so maybe it can stay for a while then ;)

Not much done yet but have started knitting on sons sweater.
So far I like the yarn and the way it looks..but I think it might get a bit big, not sure. Must see while I knit more.
Son was surprised when I told him I'm now going to knit for him :)

Today I have been shopping some yarn. Was suppose to buy only a few yarnballs, but came home with much more.
All so lovely yarns.
Drops Karisma (16 ball's) Have plans to knit a sweater for my son.
Järbo Garn Raggi (1 ball) Socks
Regia (2 ball's) Socks or cap
Drops Eskimo (3 ball's) Slippers
Novita Kide (3 ball's) Scarf
Now let's see how many of these projects will be ready some day. Coz' I'm so good at planing things but then start something new, I have lot's of halfdone projects..
Let's hope for the best with these ;)

Coz' I had some of the lightblue yarn left I did knit another pair of baby mittens. I know I will knit more in other colours.

I have also got ready a pair of kids mittens with the Viking Fröya yarn.

Bright and colourful.

And now the 'mitten month' ends. Not much done for me, 5 pairs. Two pairs is still halfdone. But will continue on them later.

Not sure what to start with now...hmmmmm..maybe something christmas related. Or then make halfdone projects ready.

Every day I knit..
And here's what I got ready this time. A pair of leg warmers my friend asked me to do.
So nice yarn, Novita Puro. This lovely colour is perfect for the autumn.
Must take some new pic's when she wears them.

More socks.. in red this time. Adults socks knitted with novita Isoveli.
Brown ones on the way and then...either blue, pink, white.. maybe striped ones..

Not much going on at my craft blog these days.. My time goes mostly at work, spending time with our kids and hw's etc.
Yes I still do craft, but so slow that I don't get anything ready. Have lot of things on the go, and soon something will be ready.
Have been sorting out my craft room now when it's going to be our girls room. Grrrrr.... I so need a craft room.. At the moment I must find room for all things in my wardrobe etc.. I think you can find yarn almost everywhere..haahaa..
My little girl likes to help me. She already likes yarn :)

Mystery Shawl

Now the mystery shawl is ready. Did take a while to make the last looong rows ready.
On the picture it's on blocking and it's evening so not any good pictures. Must take a new one in daylight.
I love the design from Vickevira. And the yarn ( Järbo garn fantasi ) is lovely to knit with, but not sure what I thought about when I bought this yarn..way too dark colours.
This turned out to a big shawl.

When we where on the car trip I did crochet these coasters. 8 of them.
You see..I must always have something to do with my hands ;)

I found Ravelry for a long time ago but have'nt had a look at it so much. A few days ago I thought why not see what it's all about. Looks like lot's of ideas, inspiration and fun.

Decided to join in a knit-a-long. It's a mystery shawl and so nice to knit.
A little problems at first but now it's going well.

We are home from our trip. Had so nice time away in Sweden. 8 nights..went so fast. Nice things to see and do. Did drive on the counrtyside and all was lovely and neat..but we didn't have so good luck with the weather..rain and a bit cold.

And while we sat in the car I did crochet coasters. When I have fasten threads I post picture.

Made these pennant flags a while ago. And now they are up in our baby girls room.
They turn out a bit curly in the end but hope they will straighten now when they are up. More to come, coz' I have crochet more of these flags.

And here's some new coasters in pastel colours. Soft and nice. Also made them in other colours.

vacation

Later this week we are going on a week long car trip. So have been trying to find out what crafts to take with me. A few old crochet and some ne things, maybe a knitting too.
If I'll get time to make them I'm not sure. But better be prepared and have something with me :)

Have'nt bought much new yarns this year. I try to knit and crochet with all the ones I have. But a few days ago I went to the craftshop and there where so many lovely things I would want!!. Got some yarn in beautiful colours. Have already started to crochet with the beige yarn, but not sure if it's turning out the way I hope.

Baby blanket

The baby blanket is now ready. Crochet in Novita Nalle yarn. 100 cm x 65 cm.
This yarn turns colours. Not quite so neat but I thought it's allrigt.

I like to crochet edges on things so this got one too. Going to be fine to have in the pram or to play on.
A bigger one would be great..maybe some time ;)

I use to borrow craftbooks from the library. If I like them much and find ideas from them I also use to buy some of them for me. ( so someone else can borrow them and I don't have them all the time..lol :D )

Mittens and scarf's

Fingerless mittens I did crochet. With the yarn Novita Isoveli.
It feels a bit itchy on the hands so it was not a good choice for this crochetting.. Think this yarn is more for socks and other things.

Have all forgot to show you what I made a long time ago.

Turned out to fluffy scarfs in nice colours.
Good idea to get rid of small yarnballs and leftovers.
And no..I don't need any of these scarfs..just fun to knit ;)

Last evening I started a new knitting. Something that would be easy to knit while watching the tv. It's going to be a jersey. Not quite sure about the size. Must see when it's ready. If it's too small for our girl I can give it to someone else.

So now I styarted stitching some roses that's suppose to come in pillowcase. Mum bougt two of these years ago..so think it's time to stitch them ready now.

From 1.9-31.10 I did knit 19 pairs of socks.
And going to continue. But have plans to start something else also.. Socks are simple and fast to knit but mittens, shawls or other things would be nice too ;)

Girly plum socks

Just got this pair of socks ready.
Knitted with the yarn TeeTee Pallas. Soft and nice to knit with.
I think some of the yarn is a bit too dark, and don't match together so well, but if it's made this way then it is. The colours remind me of plums.
I guess they can fit someones feet.
Size about 30.
Don't know why my socks always turns out to size 30..lol :o)
Next time another size..
And again..don't wanted the stripes to look the same on both ;)

At the moment I'm knitting on a few pairs of socks.
Got these ready some days ago. Knitted in 7 veljestä. And the pattern is from the new issue of Novita.
Made some own changes to the pattern. Wanted to have the lace all the way down to the heel.

Blueberrysocks and a card

Got the third pair of socks ready.
Knitted with Novita Nalle Marjaretki Mustikka (= blueberry)
Size about 30 this time too.
I did'nt want to have the stripes looking the same on both so did knit them like the yarn came. Just like the other pairs I have made before. Sometimes I think the socks don't have to look exactly the same.

And a card for a 4 yearold girl.
The flowers and grass are already on the card. Did add a coloured Tilda picture and the number I did cut out from lilac paper. can it get more simple..

Have been feeling tired lately and not been doing much else than knitting in the evenings.
Got the first pair of socks ready for the sockmonths that are now.
Yet not sure if they will be for my son or going to charity.
The yarn is 7 veljestä.

Small socks

Earlier in the summer I made a few pairs of baby socks.
Nice present to give to friends who's having a baby this fall.
Fast knitting project. Used Mandarin Petit and my own sockpattern.

For september-october I have joined a group where we knit socks. Let's see if I get any pairs done ;)
Have planed to knit some socks for Christmaspresents and then some for charity too.

Last days I have made 7 new things ready, but can't tace pictures coz' my camera is'nt working. Must buy a new one soooon!!!

All pieces for the tablecloth are ready. Now I need to sew them together.
But.. I'm so lousy at doing things ready..just leave them and start new ones..grrr.
Think this must be one of the next things I do!! Maybe this evenings project. Then it needs a crochet edge.

Small tablecloth/doily

This is a lovely design on a small tablecloth/doily.
Have made about 6 of these. This time two on the photo.
Takes only a while to get ready. And the yarn Almedahls was so great to crochet with. Only problem is that I can't find more of it anywhere. Think it was such an old yarn that it's not on the market anymore :(
If you know anything of where to find it please tell me!!!

Blanket

I have lots of small yarnballs and leftover yarns that I have been saving but not know what to knit or crochet with them.
I now came up with the idea to crochet small pieces into a blanket. Can make a piece every now and then and continue when I feel for it.
I think I have quite dark colours of this wool ( leftovers from socks etc.), but going to continue on it anyway. Not even sure what to do with it when..and if... it gets ready.
Have now made about 50 pieces.

There's some things that I just can't have enough...and that's Yarn!!
Got some more when it was on sale.
All Novita yarns.
Lot's of new projects to come. But trying not to start anything new before a few others are ready.
Would like to knit or crochet some simple shawl, so have to take a lookin magazines and on the net what I can find.
Some lacy knitting would be nice.
